Major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions can occur both in Iceland and California. They occur along the plate boundaries between the Pacific, North America, and Eurasia plates and affect local populations of Icelanders and Californians alike. This is an online virtual event using a video from the 16th Annual Nordic Spirit Symposium, Iceland: Land of Fire, Ice and Vikings.
